Unbalanced Panel Data

Postby think_different » Mon Aug 17, 2009 7:05 am

Hi there!

I'm new to eViews and also new to the forum!

I have an unbalanced panel data set which look as follows:

ABB 2001 10
ABB 2002 11
CS 2000 8
UBS 1999 5
UBS 2000 4
UBS 2001 3

Can eViews deal with such data?
My plan is to make a couple of regressions (Fixed Effects, Instrumental Variables)!

Thank you for your help!

Regards,
Simon

Yep, no problem. Just read the data in, then structure the page as a panel. EViews will handle the unbalanced nature of it with no problems.
