paste as link frequency conversion bug

Hi

I am trying to paste a quarterly series (gdp) as link to a monthly sheet - and get the following error message:
"Paste as link for low to high frequency criteria is not supported.
Please select Paste as Series (by Value) instead."

My steps are:
copy - paste special - link - low to high frequency method: constant - match: average

Hi

The above bug still persist with the latest patch - please indicate if you are able to replicate the issue.
Given the way I construct my Eviews files it forces me back to Eviews 8 - whenever I start a workfile from scratch...
