Hi!
The excel file I'm trying to read in looks like this:

But when I try to import it in Eviews, it returns this

It looks to me that the dates don't match up ...
Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Your help would be greatly apprciated.
Kind (and hopeful) regards,
Jan

Re: Eviews - dated by date series - is returning the wrong d
Your dates are one per quarter, so EViews just assumes you have quarterly data.
If you don't want it to be quarterly data, you can change the structure to whatever you want.

Thank you for your quick response, Gareth.
However, I don't really know how to change the structure. Would you mind to help me out?
When I try to change it to daily data, it gives me an error:

How do I let Eviews know that I want eviews to read those dates in? As opposed to quarterly dates?

If you don't want it structured by those dates, just import it as undated.
