Fixed effects model form

Postby Zerathios » Mon Apr 20, 2015 8:40 am

Hello!

I have data that I have calculated for 100 countries where the dependent variable is GDP and then I have four explanatory variables that effects this with regards to economic downturns. this is for the years 2000-2010.

I want to use a fixed effects model for this, in order to see how their vulnerability to economic downturns is affected. What would this look like in Eviews?

I have found models where they have individuals as the population but not for countries. I am really scratching my head about this, so help would be appreciated!

/Kind Regards, Zerathios

You're describing panel data. Set your data up in a panel workfile, then on the estimate dialog there will be an option to include fixed effects.
