Hi everybody,
When I will run a panelregression with many observations (around 800.000 Nobs) I receive the following notification:
"The Programm EViewsSVMac.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
This can be caused by a problem in the program or a deficiency in Wine. You may want to check http://appdb.winehq.org for tips about
If this problem is not present under Windows and has not been reported yet, you can report it at http://bugs.winehq.org.
As it is stated in the header the version is EViews8SV (so it is available for Mac). My Mac runs with OS X Yosemite 10.10.2.. I already posted the bug in the stated page but wanted to ask if somebody here can help me to fix the problem since it is urgent :)

What is the build date of your version (you can find out from help->about EViews)?

It is Student Edition - Jun 24 2014 build

Could you email the Workfile and specification of the equation you're trying to estimate to support@eviews.com

What operation were you performing? Please email support@eviews.com with instructions on how you got the crash along with the associated workfile or dataset.
