Frequency Conversion - different methods of conversion

I'm using eviews 7.

I would like to do a frequency conversion from daily to monthly data. Some of the variables in the dataset should be transformed to "sums", others to "averages". I used "Options"->"General Options"-> "Series and Alphas" to choose the respective conversion method. However, there is only the possibility to choose one single conversion method for all variables...

Is there a possibility to apply different methods of conversion to different variables from the same dataset?

Verbatim quote from the EViews manual:

If you use copy-and-paste to copy one or more series between two workfiles, EViews will copy the series to the destination page, using the default frequency conversion settings present in the series to perform the conversion.
If, when pasting the series into the destination, you use Paste Special... in place of Paste, EViews will display a dialog offering you the opportunity to override the default frequency conversion settings.
