Entering variables in estimation

Postby borammills » Thu Feb 12, 2015 10:43 pm

Probably the most beginner issue ever, but I'm trying to run my first regression in Eviews and the program will not let me type the variables into the estimation window, and I'm at a loss. Version 7, running on Mac OS 10.10.2. Am I doing something incredibly wrong, or just wildly unlucky? Also having issues with selecting multiple objects at a time, and right-clicking using ctrl-click.

Thank you in advance, I'm tearing my hair out over here.

What happens when you try to type in the variables?

Well, I was attempting to type in the box and literally nothing showed up, so then I tried to copy paste, same problem. Finally quit and reopened, and everything worked. So it appears to have been a one-time glitch. And thank goodness for that, got everything done on time.
