Redefining file date

I am using Eviews 8 student edition. My student has not dated the annual observations in importing the datafiles from Excel -hence the sample and dating is 1-22.
Is there a way this can be redefined for the Workfile to calendar dates ie 1990-2011?

Also is there a way of taking a group of variables and applying a log transform to each without having to use the Quick Generate Series but rather specify the transform for each variable in the workfile individually -such as prefixing each logged variable name with an L and using a wildcard for the variable names ?

1) Yes -> Click on Proc->Resize/Restructure Current Page, then change the structure to be dated.
