Problem with the display resolution

Postby Roccos » Thu Oct 16, 2014 6:23 am

Hi everybody,
I've just installed my eviews 8 but I have a problem with the resolution of this. For example the button and the words are so little, I can't see it. My mac runs window 8.
Thank you to everybody

How are you running Windows 8? Is it via Boot Camp?

Please post a screen shot.

Sorry but I was busy. This is the screenshot. Can you see the huge difference between the three buttons close, minimise and reduce?
thanks

EViews uses a particular Microsoft provided set of features for all but 1 EViews theme. In this set of features Microsoft did not implement resizing of the buttons based on Title size. So they are always fixed.

You can however select the 1 EViews theme whereby the buttons do get resized. From EViews, select options->general options. Next select Environment->appearance and choose EViews classic from the Basic theme list.
