To interpret Wilcoxon/Mann-Whitney test output

Postby Ash » Mon Oct 13, 2014 8:47 am

Hello,
how i have to interpret the results of the Wilcoxon/Mann-Whitney test in two cases:
1) the samples n1 = n2 = 24, value = 1.83, prob.= 0.06
2) the samples n1 = n2 = 24, value = 0.38, prob. = 0.70
Finally, do the samples seem to be equal or don't?

By the way, where can i find a detailed guide for interpreting other tests' output?
Also, how can i apply tests for samples of different volume?
Thank you very much in advance, and sorry for my numerous questions. I'm still a dummy.
