dummy variable to indentify quarters

Hi,

I have quarterly collected data and I want to adjust it to seasonal effect, therefore I need a dummy variable, that could tell me when data are specifically from Q1.
Does anyone know what's the command for that? Because in online tutorials I only found things like married or not, but when I put in that command and replaced "look for married" for "look for Q1" it didnt't work.
