can eviews6 support data in excel2007(.xlsx) ?

Hello,
Can I use excel 2007 files (.xlsx) in eviews6 while importing data from excel 2007 or should I convert all excel2007 data into excel97-2003 worksheet (.xls).
I could not see .xlsx type extension in data importing menu of eview6. There is (.xls) extension but no (.xlsx).

Can Eviews 6 support excel 2007 worksheet or not?

Unfortunately EViews 6 was released before Excel 2007, so we were not able to add .xlsx support. You will have to save your files as .xls
