Need Help with Cross-sectional Regression.

Dear all,

I am very new to Econometrics and Eviews at the moment I am working on my dissertation about stock characteristics preferred by mutual funds. The type of data used in my work is cross-sectional data. I would like to know what types of test we have to do when we are working on cross-sectional regression.
