How to fetch data from ALFRED?

Hi,

I can fetch data from the St. Louis FRB FRED database using:

Code: Select all

db fred fetch(fred) [varlist]

However I would like to fetch an specific vintage of the data using the ALFRED database. Is this possible? How to do it?

I don't believe we support Alfred.

If there is no support for Alfred, then is there a work around to fetch from Fred specifying the real time start and real time end as explained here:

Unfortunately that feature is also not supported. I would download the data directly from the FRED website into an Excel or text file and then import the file into EViews.
