Postby ashish22184 » Mon Dec 15, 2008 3:35 am

I want to run regression through origin to remove the hetroscedasticity!
However i am not sure how to run regression through origin model!

Any help on the above will be really appreciated!

Thanks,

Non-normality and collinearity are NOT problems!

Omit the constant term, although running a regression through the origin has nothing to do with heteroskedasticity.

Just type "ls income consump" in the command prompt at the top... where income and consump are the dependent and independent variables, respectively. These can be anything you want, or whatever data you're comparing. Notice how I didn't include an intercept, which would normally make this statement "ls c income consump", with c being the intercept.
