Insufficient number of observations

Postby nikolayiliev » Tue Jan 07, 2014 5:14 am

Dear all,

I am trying to run some regressions for my dissertation, but I get a message that I can't because I don't have enough observations. I am using 17 variables (currently entered just 2) for a 6 year period and 19 countries having maximum of 114 observations. I have some missing observations, but I have at least 80 observations for each variable, so I don't understand why the observations are insufficient. I wanted to run a basic regression

Code: Select all

gdpgrowth c gengovexp
just to try if everything is working, but it seems that it doesn't. I am using Eviews 7 and I have attached my workfile. Thank you in advance.

Did you use the pool object to perform the estimation? You have a pool workfile, you should ready the chapter of the User Guide relating to estimating with Pools.
