assigning dates to undated series

Hello,

I am using a series that contains data at unregular intervals: observations occur on Thursday and Fridays for around 100 years. This series is undated in eviews, i.e. observations are numbered 1,2,..n and I have also constructed a series containing the exact dates as in day.month.year. Is there a way to connect the two series, in order to assign a date in the form of day.month.year to each observation?

Structure the page by the date series.
Proc->Structure/Resize Current Page, then select Dated - Specified by date series.
