Frequency conversion

I have two models: 1 wich runs on quarterly data and 1 that runs on annual data. The second model uses input from the first. I have to convert the output from the first model from quarterly to annual to be able to run the second model. I am trying to make this process automatic. Does using the copy command and two different workfile pages, 1 page for model 1 and the second for model 2 sounds like a doable solution?
