Now I can't believe that this should be difficult AT ALL, and yet it seems to be.
I am sure that at some point in the past i have entered a mode where I can add additional observations TO EXISTING SERIES by copying and pasting from excel, which would seem to be by far the easiest route to updating a workfile that is frequently used but does not require additional series to be added.
However, i am utterly at a loss as to the safe-cracking skills to get back to the appropriate setting / mode / mystifying combination of button presses to have a workfile even allow me to do this. I find abundant information on how to add new series, but that is NOT what I need. I simply want to be able to return to the same workfile and equations on a regular basis with an updated data set.
Please help - to say this is frustrating and time-consuming would be a massive understatement.

Re: Pasting from Excel
Is Edit mode turned on in the series you wish to copy to (Edit +/- button)?
