'and' syntax error erased data entry

Hope this is the right directory:

I've made a dummy "workfile data item" (not sure of the right name, it is a file of a variable) of two data items, by the
command: group acq_target @expand(acquirer, target)
This gives me a item with three colloms: ACQUIRER=0 AND TARGET=1 ; ACQUIRER=1 AND TARGET=0 ; ACQUIRER=1 AND TARGET=1

I drop the last one, to avoid the dummy trap, by making a new file command:
group acquirer1_dropboth @expand(acquirer, target, @droplast)

This creates the (G) file entry I need, and can use without problems. however when I open the eviews file the next day, It gives the error
message: syntax errorr in "and"
and the colloms in the file are erased WHY??
the data entry item then only has one collum left, which now states ACQUIRER=0 ; the rest has disappeared

I am using eviews 6, however at university so on different computers.

(it does the same truble but worse when also using eviews 5 interchangeable)
But then it erases entries in even more created (dummy) data items.

Looks like a bug. We'll look into it.

Any new thoughts on the problem?
It keeps erasing worksfile entries with and in it.

We have a fix, just waiting on the patch to be fully tested. Hopefully in the next couple of days.

After clicking run, Eviews gives the following error message:
error installing ikernel.exe: (0xa00)

What does it mean is it that I don't have enough rights (and need to send it to the administrator) or is it a different issue.

Yep, that means you don't have enough rights.

I send it to the administrators office.

Is it possible to see somewere if the patch has been installed ?
(without having to do the work and finding out the next day that it all has disappeared again..)
