I have my data for acquirer size and other variables such as premium for domestic and foreign acquisitions. My teacher asked me to test differences between domestic and foreign transactions by using two-sample t-test for means and Wilcoxon-test for medians. How to carry out such tests in Eviews?
Thanks!

Open them as a group, then click on View->Tests of Equality.
Re: Test for means and medians
Hi as I have different samples for each groyp, eg: domestic group has 407 observations and foreign group has 56 observations. I chose the unstructed and set the frequency to 463. Is this right? I tried the way you told me previously but the result seems not right and the obervation showed to be 56. The mean and median I should test is the difference between domestic mean and foreign mean.

Re: Test for means and medians
On the series menu for the variable of interest, select View/Descriptive Statistics & Tests/Stats by Classification... and enter the name of the variable that identifies domestic vs. foreign. [edit: note that Gareth's suggestion applies to settings where the foreign and domestic data are in different series objects]
