viewing correlogram

Postby geko » Tue May 19, 2009 7:12 am

hi,
i am a newly user of eviews and just discovering the programme. i am asking about an error message .When i am trying to view a correlogram of a serie by clicking view/correlogram and keying the "lags to include" box 39 (which is 1/4 count of my sample). Then it errors as "near singular matrix". Cant view correlogram and wondering why..

Thanks and regards...

That is very odd indeed. You might want to take a look at your series and be sure it isn't full of NAs.

Works fine for me.

You might want to ensure that your copy of EViews 6 is up to date.

What's the version and build date of your copy of EViews. (These can be found under Help/About.)
