Independent Variable (Series) Not Defined

When running a program, I get an error saying:

"VariablePage\SeriesName is not defined in 'EQUATION EQ_MODEL.LS DEP_VAR C @SEAS(1) @SEAS(2) @SEAS(3) @SEAS(4) @SEAS(5) @SEAS(6) @SEAS(7) @SEAS(8) @SEAS(9) @SEAS(10) @SEAS(11) VariablePage\SeriesName MA(1) AR(3)"

Some potentially useful info: the model was created in version 8 and the error was produced in version 7.2 (which was patched/updated with the Jun'13 update). Additionally, I tried running the program using a different series and that didn't work.

Thoughts on what might be causing this error?

EViews 7 doesn't support page\series.

Is there an easy work around?

Copy the series from the other page onto the current page, then include it in the estimation.
