MEDIAN

Postby st09673 » Mon Jun 24, 2013 1:24 pm

Hi,
I would like to compute a series that shows the median of a group for each observation (over time). How can I do this? Thanks a lot in advance.

You'll have to be more specific. What does " median of a group for each observation (over time). " mean?

I have a group of 6 timeseries`. For each day I wanna compute the median value across that group and put the median value into a new time series. Is this more clear?

Yep.

Unfortunately there is no built-in function for doing that. You can get the mean, but not the median :(
