Descriptive Statistics - excluding zero balances

How can I view the group statistics of a number of series by individual samples where I want to exclude any observations in each series that are zero? I have observations that are both positive & negative.

I think you're out of luck on that. Best thing to do is create copies of the series, convert the 0s into NAs, then view the group stats.
