My EViews workfiles contains a number of different pages for things like Demand, Supply etc, with one single page called "All Data" where all the time series that I use are imported into from Excel. The other pages (Demand, Supply etc) only contain the relevant time series, and have been copies and pasted as links from the All Data page, the idea being is that once new data comes into the spreadsheet, I can just import from excel into "All Data" and all the other will get updated when i click "refresh" all links under "manage links and formula".
Unfortunately, once I update from excel in "All Data" and click refresh all links in the individual pages, the time series are not updating. Am I missing something? Help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Updating/Refrshing Links in EViews Workfile Pages
Links between pages do not need refreshing - they update automatically in real time.
Re: Updating/Refrshing Links in EViews Workfile Pages
That's what I thought as well - but in my case, they are not refreshing automatically. The new data gets populated by NA's.
Here is what I am doing:
1) Update "All Data" through Import / Overwrite all time series
2) Go to individual pages
3) Click on Proc, resize current page, update the end data
4) Right click on page, manage links / formula, refresh links - update from source
Am I missing something?

You're doing it correctly, although step 4 isn't needed.

Re: Updating/Refrshing Links in EViews Workfile Pages
Thanks for the example.
I've done the exact same thing but it still seems like i'm getting "NA" in the cells where the new data is being populated. So I can see the new months being added, but instead of numbers, im seeing NA instead of the data points. Any idea why that might be happening?
In the pages, Set Sample, does that always have to be @all?
Can you please confirm that when I paste the link, I do paste special, paste as link, merge by date, OK?
Many thanks.

Sample @all is fine. Yes, that's how you paste.
Post your workfile. Maybe there's something screwy.

When you create a new page, you do not need to make a copy of OBSID. Could you do the followings?
1) paste special
2) paste as link
3) merge by date
1) paste special

Re: Updating/Refrshing Links in EViews Workfile Pages
I am creating a new page by
1) Staying on the all data page
2) Clicking new page
3) Copy extract from current page
4) By link to new page
Once this creates a new page, i simply delete the time series i dont need to use, the rest remain links
Is that the porblem?

The problem is that the link needs obsid01, which you have deleted.
