panel data

Postby parvin.a » Wed Jan 30, 2013 10:31 am

I use eviews 7 and i have 2 balaced panel data with 15 cross_section(developed country) and 10 time- periods , 15cross_section(developing country) and 10 time- periods. I run eath model with cross-section fixed effects. but for eath model the Durbin-watson is low and for model1(developed country) is about 0.90 and for model2(developing country) is about 1.03
how can i increase the DW to ~2?
Thanks.

I'm also trying to run a fixed effects panel regression
Ive got 18 cross sections with 25 years
when i click the fixed effects on panel options i get an output > > > > is this the same as doing cross section dummy variables?
Also when i go on view >> fixed/random effects > > > > Cross-section effects i get my cross section with a column labelled effects...how do i interpret that? any help will be appreciated!
