How do I esitmate equations?

Postby pooh_771226 » Sat Jan 12, 2013 2:05 am

Dear all,
The following is the regression that I want to estimate:
r = d1*[ c(1)+c(2)*exrate_changes+c(3)*gap+c(4)* infla+c(5)*pe+c(6)*pre_r] +(1-d1)*[c(7)+c(8)*exrate_changes+c(9)*gap+c(10)* infla+c(11)*pe+c(12)*pre_r]
After entering the regression, it shows "syntax error".
I don't know what to do, could u please help me? Thank u~

yours, Olivia

Non-normality and collinearity are NOT problems!

Try parentheses rather than square brackets.
