access to CEIC database local files

Hello,

I want to extract data from the CEIC database. And the data were already downloaded to local files, like Haver.
Can I use Eviews directly fetch data from these local files?

I tried several times and failed.

EViews is capable of downloading data directly from the CEIC server databases. If you have stored the data in a CEIC local file format, EViews does not support it.

To what file format have you saved your data locally?

If you would like to store the data locally, you will have to save the data to an EViews database (*.edb), Excel file, or one of the locally supported formats.
