Connecting adjacent

Hi everyone!

I'm programming an automatically update of my workfile's graphs. However, I have one (daily) series that starts at 2008, stops at the beginning of 2010 and restarts at 2011. Is it possible to update it connecting adjacent, but not from 2010 to 2011, where I have no information?
