Use Old Eviews 6 licese with Eviews 7 License Manager

Hi,
We're upgrading to Eviews 7 and set up a new license manager for Eviews 7 concurrent users.
The License manager which we had for Eviews 6 was on a server that crashed.

Our clients are still running EViews 6, we plan t upgrade to 7 in January.
Can we use the Eviews 6 License Key on the Version 7 license manager?
If so, does it have to be reset since we used it originally on the old License manager about 3 years ago?

Yes, the EViews 7 License Manager is capable of hosting EViews 6 licenses in addition to EViews 7 licenses simultaneously.

Contact support@eviews.com along with your EViews 6 serial number, indicating that you wish to unregister your previous server due to hardware issues. From there we can 'reset' your license, so that you may register the license to the new machine.
