Adding new data to an existing sample object

Postby rockerbie » Wed Jun 22, 2011 9:53 am

I have a pooled time-series cross-section model with N time-series observations for each of K cross-section units. I now have a new annual observation for each of the K cross-sections that is the latest year. I would like to be able to just type the new observations into the EViews data files by extending the sample for each cross-section unit by one year. Can I do this without having to create a new workfile for the new observations and then appending the the new workfile to the existing workfile?

Figured it out. Although solution is simple, somewhat buried in the manual.
