Exporting Regression Results
Is there a way to export regression results to an excel spreadsheet. Basically what i need exported are the coefficientes,p-values,t-stats and the names of the independent and dependent series used in the equation. I have already recopilated all the information on a matrix except for the names of the series used in the equation. I know i can reference the names of the series with @varlist but i get a whole list indexed through time of the same names. I just need the names once and would like to simply add these strings to the matrix i already have with the rest of the information. Can this be done?

There are many ways to do it.
You can get the names of the variables used in an equation from the @varlist data member. This will return a space delimited string, which you can parse using the @word function.
An easier approach might be to simply freeze the equation output into a table object, then save the table object to disk in a format that Excel understands.
You could, obviously, also just create your own table containing the information from each equation and then save the big table to disk. That's what I do in the EqTabs add-in.
Alternatively, of course, you could simply use the EqTabs add-in, since it offers you the ability to put information from a bunch of equations into one table and then save it to disk for Excel.

Is there a limited space as to the quantity of equations in the program? for one i need to stack the equations by tens and run out of space while writing out the names. So what i did is copied and pasted the ten equations on a different workfile and used * to get all equations and eivews crashed :s.

You'll have to define things a bit better for me to understand exactly what you're asking there.
Either way, EViews shouldn't have crashed, and if you can replicate the crash, I'd really appreciate it if you could email in the stuff needed to replicate it (support@eviews.com).
Otherwise, I would just use @wlookup to create a string containing all of the equations in your workfile. Much easier than typing them in.

Ok thanks! Actually i fixed the problem, i just have a question is there a way to add the r2 into the stacked output format?

Equations have an @r2 datamember.
Re: Exporting Regression Results
Sorry i didnt explain myself, as i see in the stacked form output format the r2 does not appear but in the summary form it does. I like the stacked form but need the the output to contain the r2. Is this possible?

Not in the add-in as it currently is, no. You can always modify it, of course.

Dear Eviews Gareth:
Im trying to use the eq tab add in, but my eviews crashes everytime i try to use it. I attach the workfile im using, just try to use the add in with any number of equations and it will crash. Why is this?
Thanks a lot for your time.
