Mixed frequencies in the graph - Development Potential

Postby johansamuelsson » Sat Mar 05, 2011 10:21 pm

I would like to mix different frequencies in a more unlimited manner in EViews graphs. A chart with the series with two different frequencies are different depending on the frequency chosen for the current page (which I understand).

If the graph plotted the series as they actually are in the databases it would be a great improvement. This is illustrated in the figure below where the three series with three different frequencies are mixed.

You can currently do that. If you have a quarterly page with a series that is linked to an annual page, then you can choose whether you want to plot that series at quarterly or at its native frequency (annual).

Thanks! Do you know the syntax to do it in a prg-file?
