Replication files do not work. Is there a bug?

I have provided the attached replication files for a journal for an accepted research article. The programs work fine for me, but an independent verifier reports that the programs crash.

Would it be possible to see if these programs work for others?

Specifically, the attached zip archive could be downloaded to a directory of the user's choice, and the top lines of the program(s) modified to reflect that default path.

For example, modify

VAR_DEC10_FINAL_GAP.PRG

Then attempt to run the program. (All the programs are the same, largely, so if one runs the others should as well).

The program should complete and save a new workfile to the specified directory.

I am using Eviews 7.1, enterprise edition, April 10, 2010 build.

Runs fine for me in EViews 7.1 (by the way you should Update your version to the latest shipping version.

Perhaps the verifier was using EViews 5 or 6?
