urgent help needed for an exam!

I may be missing your real question, but there's nothing to calculate. EViews displays the R-squared in the first line below the coefficient values.

R-squared 0.842328
How is R^2 calculated from this?

yea i know. i just need to know how that R^2 that it gives me is calculated.

It's 1 - (sum squared residuals)/(sum squared (y-meany))
Look in the help system for "R-squared, for regression"
