create unbalanced data workfile

i have to insert unbalanced data into e-views.i have read all the forums about how to insert them and when i enter finish after i have defined cross-section and date series it shows me the message..REPEATED VALUES FOUND IN SOURCE ID SERIES..CAN ANYONE EXPLAIN ME THIS ERROR?WHAT HAVE I DONE WRONG?

You have more than one observation with the same cross section and date identifier

i cannot find a problem like this..is it because i have 3000 fixtures??
