Pin Flyover for graphs with multiple series plotted separately
For a graph that has multiple series with each series plotted separately, I am unable to do a “pin flyover”. The function is not an available option when I right click over a data point on the graph. However, I did notice object->view options->Pin flyover but when I select this, either nothing happe...

Re: Test of Equality for Paired Samples
Thanks for the reply.
After rereading the EViews Users Guide, it seems that I misinterpreted the "common sample" option for "tests of equality" as an option to specify a paired sample.

Test of Equality for Paired Samples
What is the formula used for equality of means testing for a group of two series? I can replicate the results for the Welch t-test. I'm interested in why, when running the tests and specifying "common sample" the results are identical as not selecting "common sample". I have calc...

Re: X11 & 64-bit Compatibility
There are a couple of issue I see with deleting each: 1) there are a decent amount of series that would need to be deleted 2) deleting would have to be done each time the program is run - even if it was written into the program, it seems a bit superfluous Alternatively, simply using the _sa would re...

Re: X11 & 64-bit Compatibility
Now a related question - can .x12 function be saved to an existing series that doesn't have an EViews specified extension? I can run kunrtu.x12 but don't know how to save adjustments without EViews adding _sa to a new series E.G.: previously the code we used for seasonal adjustments: x11(m) kunrtu k...

Re: X11 & 64-bit Compatibility
Thanks EViews Gareth.......
Do you see any potential issues with running the 32-bit version of EViews with 64-bit Win7?

Re: X11 & 64-bit Compatibility
I don't understand how X11 was 64-bit compatible before, but not now. The CPU hasn't changed, only the version of EViews.
Thanks for the quick reply.

X11 & 64-bit Compatibility
Our work just upgraded to EViews8 from Eviews5. We have workfiles with the census X11 seasonal transformation being called, with no issues until today. After upgrading the following message occurs: "X11, as provided by the U.S. Census, is not supported on 64-bit operating systems. Please use X1...
