I see now that i had duplicate years for the same company and have fixed that in excel.
Everything seems to be fine now.

Hi Gareth, I am having trouble importing my excel file into Eviews (version 7). I have panel data on a number of companies, from 2000-2012, but not all companies have data for each year. I am wondering if it is still possible to import such a file into Eviews. Some companies have data from 2005-2012...
