chi-square Likelihood ratio test (restricted & unrestricted model)

I have the panel data result from the 2 models which are restricted and unrestricted model. Now, I want to run the chi-square goodness of fit statistic for the restricted and unrestricted models (likelihood ratio statistics) and can't find the way to do that, from the below picture attached, which o...

Re: How I command Eviews not to estimate coefficient in front of variable X

I have tried both solution from Startz and Matt. For me, Matt's solution seems to be easier since I just type the command accordingly. While startz's solution, I have to subtract the variable (I do it in excel file and copy to eviews as a serie of variable), then run the equation accordingly. Someho...

How I command Eviews not to estimate coefficient in front of variable X

I'm very new and I have the a problem. At the Equation Estimation Tab, How can I command Eviews not to estimate coefficient on the variable X here (2 places) ?? You can see in the below picture. Because when I press spacebar in my keyboard, Eviews always assign the coefficient value on that point. H...

Re: how to store Slopes to run further equation

i tried to run the final equation but Eview said that my new input is not a serie, so I can't run the final equation. I don't know how to go further.

Re: how to store Slopes to run further equation

I try my best. To run the new equation that has to use input from the coefficient result from old equation, now I copy those 8 coefficients and edit, then save in new table. Not sure whether it is ok or not.

Re: how to store Slopes to run further equation

I mean these R2 to R8 has to be a serie of input (variable x) in another model, in order to estimate another serie of coefficient. The another model, which I will run, is restricted model which we will fix the known variables (R2 to R8) and then, estimate coefficient to get the final result to inter...

Re: how to store Slopes to run further equation

Thank you so much. How can I use these Coefficient to run another equation further ?
In the below picture, I need to use data only R2 to R8 to run another equation, these data are currently in the C as the above post told..

Thank you so much.

how to store Slopes to run further equation

I have already estimated the equation with 8 crossid, and got the beta of X1 for each crossid, so I have 8 Beta. I wonder if anyone can help me how to store those 8 Beta as a serie containing 8 Beta, since I have to use those 8 Beta to run another equation further. Thank you in advance. I am very ne...

I am very new to eviews, and use only the equation box (cannot use the command area)
would be appreciate for your help so much.
