Hello

With version 8, I'm using a Pool Object to estimate a Panel Model with several Cross Section Identifiers.
I wonder if there is a max in the number of character that I can input in the "Common Coefficients" window.


The question arises because eviews crashed several times, and this issue seems related with the number of character introduced in that window.
Could anyone help me?

How many characters did you enter?

Just under 3000

I can enter far more than that without a crash. Perhaps you could post your workfile, and the specification you were entering into that dialog?

If you haven't found any issue in the length of the variable list then should be something else.
This is already a result.

I will try to make a copy of the workfile and estimate again the model.
