Eviews 8 - Client configuration for Virtualisation
Posted: Mon Aug 05, 2013 6:02 am
Hi,
I am trying to virtualise Eviews 8 for delivery using Application Jukebox from Numecent - http://www.numecent.com/products/applic ... kebox.html
This is going to be our primary delivery method for student workstations from September.
I have "captured" the install on a reference machine that was installed with our serial number and cloning key (its a unlimited lab environment), and i then virtualised the application and have been able to deliver it and it works fine
However, the problems start when i even make small changes post install and then try to re-virtualise the application - Even just unticking show the splash screen tick box, will cause the re-virtualised app to display the following message when i delivered it and try and run it
Unable to obtain licence from server "servername": client machine has not been properly prepared for lab licencing.
Again, all was fine after intially installing, capturing, deploying and running so isnt like its a firewall issue
I'm stumped and any help would be appreciated.
