How to write loop code for forecasting 1,2,3step

Hi guys,

To begin, i should say i have no idea how to program in eviews but i need to to compute forecast values for 1 , 2 and 3-months ahead, over 3 year period of a sample with the 3 models I have used on this sample of data (time trend regression,exponential smoothing and arima). Without writing a loop code i have to compute 38x3 forecasts for the models and changing the time series everytime.

Could you point me to other topics where such a code has been written or possibly give me guidance on where to start from? is it going to take me more time to write such a code than compute all these forecasts and copy and paste values in excel each time.
