When I copy and paste page between two workfiles, Eviews shutdown by itself and gvae error message. This happened several times recently and I still can't move page between workfiles. It used to be OK (at least two weeks ago). Is there something wrong with my current version (7.2, enterprise version built on 10/17/2012)?

Could you describe exactly what you're doing?

I have two workfiles open and manually drag a page from workfile1 to workfile2 using my mouse. Eviews ask me "paste new page", I say Yes. Then suddenly the whole program whites out and an error message pops out (microsoft) asking me to close the program. Two weeks ago, I could do this operation all the time.

You mean EViews asks you to "Copy to new page" ?

Is this with any workfile, or a specific one?

Eviews shows a choice of "paste" and "paste new page". I just played it moments ago. It seemed to me it's ok for me to paste a page to different workfile if the page has very few data. When I trying to paste a page with hundreads of series, it failed again.

ok, again, please outline the exact things you do, including where you point your mouse, and what you click on. There are many many ways to copy data in EViews. We need to know exactly which one you are doing.

OK. I have 2 workfiles open in eviews (workfile A and workfile B). Workfile A has several pages and one of them is page A. Workfile B has several pages too.
First, I point to page A of workfile A (my mouse is at the tab of page A).
Second, using my mouse, I drag page A to "new page" of Workfile B.
Third, Eviews shows a choice of "paste" and "paste new page". I move my cursor to "paste new page" and click it.
Two weeks ago, there was no problem: No matter how big the size of page A, page A was pasted into workfile B. Now, The whole program is frozen and white out and leaves me no choice but to shut down.

exactly like that. Prior to two/three weeks ago, I could copy and paste pages with no problem.

I'm confused. If you look at my video, when you drop it on the target workfile "New Page", it pops up with two choices: "Copy to New Page", or "Cancel". Are those the choices you're getting? Previously you said you had the choices of "Paste" or "Paste as New Page".
