policy variable handling

I am new EViews user (7.2), currently I am working to build and solve macroeconometric model, to analyze some of economic policies. The problem is the chosen policy variable is in a real form and it is used in some equations in logarithmic form and in others in nominal form. The question is, does the EViews consider these different forms automatically, or is it requires a specific action when coding the equations to insert them to solve the whole model in the simulation process.
