Expected format

Postby Zain » Mon Aug 20, 2012 9:59 am

I am trying to open a an excel file in eviews, but i get the following message: "workbook's name" does match expected format"

What might be the source of the problem?

Thank you

What is your workbook name? Foreign characters may be the cause but it's hard to say without seeing the file. The best thing to do is to send your excel file to support@eviews.com

I copied the data and saved it in a new workbook under a different name and it worked.

Thank you
