Importing data from google sheets using EViews7

Hi all,
Our organisation is evalauting google docs and I'm trying to work out how we could use the spreadsheet facility together with EViews7.

Is it possible to use the import command in EViews7 to draw data from a google docs spreadsheet?

You have to log into Google Docs, download the spreadsheet as a CSV file on to your local machine, and then import the CSV into EViews.

Thanks Garth, it would have been nice to import the data directly from the cloud but not to be.

I've often thought it would be neat, but so far you're the only person to request it.
