Categorical dummy variable in logit model

Postby mhf86 » Mon Jul 02, 2012 11:59 am

Hi,

How do I enter categorical dummy variables into a logit model? I have constructed ten categories from a set of 2-digit industry codes (<10, 10-19, 20-29, and so on). I am able to run these on our performance measure using OLS and the @expand command, but when trying to do the same thing with the logit model I get the message "unmatched parenthesis". Is there some way to get around this problem?

Thank you for your help!

Could you provide your workfile? It should work in exactly the same way as for OLS.
