window management improvements / windows docking

Hello. This is my final (for now) suggestion.
Window management is a real pain. There's no window docking, windows are allowed to overlap the command window, you can't see the command history at all times, etc, etc.
You should consider adding a visual studio style docking facility to the software.
I suggest a basic layout:
* left (narrower) column, top: command history
* left column, bottom, 3 tabs: 1. a tree-like view of the workfile objects, 2. a view of the objects stored to the registered databases, 3. user generated programs and code snippets
* right (wider) column: equations, graphs, spreadsheets, in a tabbed interface.
The "desktop" shouldn't be viewable (it serves no purpose and it means screen real state is wasted).
