Hello,
I am a new Eviews user and have the following question:
If I run a regression and then use the forecast tab to create a forecast based on my regression, how can I go back to see the original equation used to generate the series?
I know that you can save the equation but I was wondering if you can see the underlying equation in the new series.
Thanks!
See original formula after using forecast tool

Re: See original formula after using forecast tool
Assuming you have a named equation, and then you create a forecast from that equation, the series that is generated as the forecast will have the name of the equation that it was forecasted from in its label view. However it will not have the specification of the equation, for that you'd have to go back and open up the equation object.
